Festival Description:
This is the 3rd annual Leelanau Maritime History Festival hosted by the Leelanau Historical Society. We aim to celebrate Leelanau’s maritime past by gathering local maritime organizations, businesses, authors, historians, and preservationists together for a day of education and celebration.Join us for this one day festival on the grounds surrounding the Leelanau Historical Society Museum (203 E. Cedar Street, Leland). Explore maritime exhibits (Free Admission Day). Enjoy the 20th annual Classic Boat Show, “Wood Boats on the Wall,” while strolling along the Leland River. Visit the various vendor/demonstrator booths, maritime exhibits, live music and enjoy other family-friendly activities.
