support history!

Your Donation Makes a Difference
The Leelanau Historical Society inspires people to explore the past, understand the present, and envision the future of the diverse cultures in the Leelanau Peninsula and its islands. We work to conserve Leelanau County's heritage by documenting, collecting, and caring for the stories, traditions, and objects of its people. We bring to you exhibits that attempt to understand and interpret the history of this spectacular area. The loyal support of our members enables us to develop our work for the benefit of present and future generations.

With membership you receive a subscription to our newsletter, a 10% discount at the Museum Store as well as member discounts for special events. Your support makes all the difference! We will be adding online forms for membership and donations soon. You may also call the office for more information: 231 256 7475

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are always welcome and needed for research, data entry, gift shop help, as docents, or for special events. Please call 231 256 7475 or email info@LeelanauHistory.org for more information.
